Linkin Park has been on hiatus since the death of Chester Bennington
Linkin Park vocalist spoke to France's United Rock Nations Post Traumatic, and whether he will be performing shows solely under his own name.
“I don’t know. I’m just taking it one step at a time and keeping my mind open to possibilities – whether it’s doing things under my own name, working with other artists, or producing tracks for someone else, or if the guys are at a point where they want to play on Linkin Park, I’m sure any of those things are possibilities and I’m open to whatever happens. Right now, honestly, the thing I’m most excited and focused on is doing the [solo] live show and making it the best it can be,” he said.
In March, Shinoda told Vulture that he still talks to the other members of Linkin Park: “We get together and have a lot of fun. Every now and then, we play some music, but there’s also a lot of uncertainty about what to do.”
The band has been on hiatus since the death of lead singer Chester Bennington in July 2017.
