Preparations for the secret project that will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Linkin Park 's landmark album, Hybrid Theory , have already begun, as evidenced by an update on the band's website.

Featuring a vintage computer theme, period photos, and messages from band members commenting on what's to come in the section of the site called "customer email.".

“Hey guys, I’m starting to look through some old gear to see what we can find for the secret project we talked about. Hopefully we can find something good there. I’m still working on figuring out the band’s old computer as well. I’m copying the email to the computer so anyone helping can stay updated. More soon,” writes Mike Shinoda .

Drummer Rob Bourdon replies, “Great. My mom has some boxes of stuff too. I’m starting to dig through that,” while bassist Dave “Phoenix” Farrell appears in the email exchange with a rubber duck and the message “Squeak Squeak.” What could be coming next?
