Linkin Park has recruited 100 gecs for a new version of their hit "One Step Closer," from the album Hybrid Theory . This new release is part of the celebration of the album's 20th anniversary.
“Part of the spirit of Reanimation was to take songs from Hybrid Theory , which people knew so well, and let innovative artists change them in ways the public never imagined,” Mike Shinoda in a press statement. “I think 100 gecs did exactly that.”
