Linkin Park – who are returning to Brazil in November with shows in three cities – spoke about how the band prepares for big shows .
In an interview with the Loudwire Nights , bassist Dave “Phoenix” Farrell said that when Linkin Park played their first show in 2024 with Emily Armstrong , he was feeling nervous like he hadn't felt in a long time: “The real answer for me is that I try not to think too much about that kind of thing… I don’t know if it’s the best strategy, but I try not to think about it too much because I might end up scaring myself.”
"I didn't know if I was getting sick or what was happening, but deep down, everything was contracting and moving," Phoenix admitted.
Vocalist Emily Armstrong was also in the interview and reflected on the subject, saying that she feels exactly the same way as Phoenix: “I could easily get scared… Every show matters. That’s what I think. Every show is just a show.”
Phoenix also briefly reflected on what it has been like having Armstrong in the band: “Her contribution to what we’re doing has been invigorating in every way. It’s been really incredible… Her willingness to engage with what we’re doing is so invigorating for me.”
Linkin Park is touring Brazil in November. The band will perform in Curitiba, at the Couto Pereira Stadium, on the 5th, in São Paulo, at the Morumbi Stadium, on the 8th, and in Brasília, at the Arena BRB Mané Garrincha, on the 11th. Tickets are on sale on the Ticketmaster .
