One More Light: Live will be released next month.
Linkin Park released a beautiful and moving statement dedicating their new live album, One More Light: Live , to Chester Bennington.
The album, which was recorded at some of the shows on the “One More Light World Tour” and mixes band classics with songs from their latest studio album, will be released on December 15th, and the track “Crawling” will be available immediately for those who pre-order .

The message issued by the band says:
“We dedicate this live album to our brother Chester, who poured his heart and soul into One More Light . When we finished recording, we joked with Chester that since he'd recorded so many wonderful studio performances, the bar had been set so high that it would be a huge challenge to recreate that magic every night on stage. It was no surprise that he, of course, accepted the challenge.
The shows we did during the beginning of the summer of 2017 were extraordinary. Chester told us he thought it was the best tour we'd ever done. The friendship and joy we felt on stage reflected the deep connection we have with each other, with the fans, and with the music.
Every night, before going on stage, we would hug each other, focus, and discuss any last detail that came to mind. Chester always made the name of the city we were going to play in sound like something top-notch. That was our ritual. Best of all, it was a moment to express our gratitude for living our dream.
Chester never forgot to thank our team – the men and women who traveled the world with us, turning our dream into reality, night after night. Without them, these shows wouldn't have been possible.
Chester was uniquely passionate, exceptionally generous, sensitive, optimistic, funny, and sweet. With his voice, he transformed pain into catharsis, authenticity into art, and passion into connection. His dedication to creating these songs was a triumph. To those who saw us live, we thank you. To those who couldn't, we hope this live album can give you an idea of how magical those shows were for the six of us.
