Linkin Park releases documentary about the behind-the-scenes of 'Minutes To Midnight'

To celebrate the 14th anniversary of the album Minutes To Midnight , Linkin Park The Making Of Minutes To Midnight on their YouTube channel this Tuesday, the 18th

Originally released on DVD in 2007, the film follows the behind-the-scenes story of Linkin Park's third studio album, which was the subject of the Wikimetal podcast .

At the beginning of the documentary, you can see the late vocalist Chester Bennington talking a bit about the concept behind the album. "We were preparing to try and reshape the band's sound in every aspect, which is a somewhat daunting thought," he recounts.

The shift in sonic nuances was discussed during episode #322 of the Wikimetal Podcast , where our editorial team defined Minutes To Midnight as a more introspective album, distancing itself from the first two, outlining some of the sonic direction that would later be presented on the following album, A Thousand Suns (2010).
