The episode was released by the band

Linkin Park released the Carpool Karaoke episode that was recorded just six days before Chester Bennington's death.

The Carpool Karaoke series was launched by Apple Music and promoted on the band's official Facebook page

The episode features comedian Ken Jeong, Chester Bennington, Mike Shinoda, and DJ Joe Hahn.

Chester is shown driving the car while laughing and joking with his colleagues.

After singing “Numb” and “Talking to Myself” by the band and “Under the Bridge” by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, they change the scene to a karaoke bus where they sing “Sweet Home Alabama” by Lynyrd Skynyrd.

At the end of the video, the main focus is on Chester. With the camera focused on the Linkin Park frontman, the episode ended up being a tribute to him.
