Linkin Park 's legendary album Hybrid Theory celebrates its 20th anniversary, and the band will not let the date pass unnoticed, according to Mike Shinoda.
During an interview with Kerrang!, Shinoda said he is planning to celebrate the milestone: “We’re planning some things together with the label and the managers who have been with us for a long time. We did our best to go to a lot of people who are like family, in a sense, and say, ‘What do you think we should do? What would be a good celebration for Hybrid Theory ?’ So, we’re going to do our best by putting together a lot of ideas.”
Hybrid Theory was released on October 24, 2000, and was the album that featured the iconic singles "In The End" and "Crawling," the latter of which recently reached one billion views on YouTube.
The blend of metal and rap presented on their debut album became a trademark of Linkin Park, and now, three years after the death of vocalist Chester Bennington , the celebration will be even more special for fans and the band alike.
