Linkin Park: 'Minutes to Midnight' receives its fifth platinum record.

Some tracks on the album also received new certifications.

Linkin Park 's inactivity Chester Bennington 's death in 2017, the band recently reached a new milestone with the album Minutes to Midnight (2007) , earning a new platinum certification – according to information from the Recording Industry Association of America ( RIAA ).

Almost exactly 15 years after its debut, the group's third studio album has already received five platinum records for over 5 million copies sold. The fourth certification was achieved in August 2017.

In addition, three songs from Minutes to Midnight received new platinum certifications; the single “What I've Done”, for the sixth time; “Bleed It Out”, for the fourth time, and “Given Up” for the first time.
