Linkin Park continues to make history with “In The End”, a single from the album Hybrid Theory (2000), which achieved an unprecedented milestone for a nu metal song.
According to data from Chart Data , the track surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify, becoming the first of its genre to accumulate that many plays on the platform. "Numb," the band's second most popular song on the platform, is approaching that mark with 800,000 plays.
Part of the band's debut album, still Linkin Park's best-selling album to date, "In The End" was Wikimetal readers and had already surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube in 2020.
