Linkin Park is the latest addition to the long list of bands and artists opposing President Donald Trump . The recently released Trump campaign video was taken down after the band filed a copyright infringement complaint.
The video in question featured a cover of the classic "In the End" by Linkin Park.
Posted last Saturday, the 18th, by the President's assistant and White House Communications Director, Dan Scavino , the clip featured a montage of Trump and his supporters.
The misuse of "In the End" caused outrage among Linkin Park fans who retweeted messages from Chester Bennington .
In one of them, the vocalist said, “I repeat… Trump is an even greater threat to the US than terrorism. We have to speak out for the things we stand for and believe in.”

The band itself issued an official statement saying: “Linkin Park has never supported and does not support Trump, and has never authorized the team to use any of our music. Formal notice to stop the misuse has been issued.” The formal process was initiated by the company that manages the band, Machine Shop Entertainment .
Donald Trump has received similar complaints from various artists such as Aerosmith , Guns N' Roses , Ozzy Osbourne , Queen , Rolling Stones , System of a Down , Twisted Sister , among many others.
