In the recent official Linkin Park , Emily Armstrong , the band's new vocalist, commented on how it felt to receive the invitation to join the group.
When asked by Mike Shinoda about the invitation, Emily replied: “I was trying to be on the same level as you guys, how amazing you were just to invite me (to do some live shows). If I had overreacted, I think it would have been a little embarrassing. And you were very kind to ask, 'What does Dead Sara think of this?' As soon as we left the studio, that's when I thought, 'Oh my God.' I was invited to throw myself into this new world. It was like I had entered Disney World. It was like it was full of magic, full of opportunities and everything you could imagine.”
After a year of record-breaking success, Shinoda is thrilled about this new chapter for the band. “Going back on the road has been incredible, the fan support is overwhelming, and we’re ready to take that energy even further around the world. From Zero is a new chapter for us, and we’re very excited to share it on an even bigger scale.”
Linkin Park returns to the stage next year with an extensive world tour, including more cities here in Brazil . Ticket details will be announced soon.
