DJ Joe Hahn stated that the band is discussing the future
Linkin Park DJ Joe Hahn was interviewed by Yonhap News in South Korea. During the interview, Hahn said that Linkin Park is in talks to make new music.
“[ Chester Bennington ] was our best friend. I miss him. We’re taking care of ourselves and our families and we’re dealing with our problems in our own way. And… now the band has started talking about new music,” the DJ revealed.
Does this mean Linkin Park is coming back? “Maybe in about 10 years,” he replied, laughing. “It could be sooner than that. I don’t want to set a deadline. We’re just focusing on the present. We’re not discussing detailed plans. I just want to go back to those days when I was making music in the garage.”
Asked if any other vocalist could take over vocals in Chester's place, Joe replied: "All possibilities are open."
Mike Shinoda had already spoken about the possibility of getting a new vocalist.
