Linkin Park has announced that they will release a previously unreleased track from the album Meteora . Titled "Lost," the song will be released next Friday, the 10th.
The new release celebrates the 20th anniversary of Meteora , which will get a new version on March 25th. The song marks just one of several releases from Linkin Park since the death of vocalist Chester Bennington in 2017.
In 2020, they similarly released the song "She Couldn't," which was originally recorded in 1998, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their debut album, Hybrid Theory . In early 2022, band member Mike Shinoda also shared that no new material is currently in the works.
