The first album from the punk quartet, praised by Tom Morello, will be released in April

The Linda Lindas have announced their debut album! The project is called Growing Up and the title track was released last Tuesday, the 1st.

The punk quartet was discovered in 2021 when their performance of the acerbic "Racist, Sexist Boy" caught the attention of Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine , Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers , Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth , and Brett Gurewitz of Bad Religion . It wasn't long before the girls signed a contract with the Epitaph Records label.

With a more relaxed theme, the song talks about the friendship of the girls, whose ages range from 10 to 16 years old, a theme also addressed in the music video directed by Humberto Leon . The song already had a premiere on American television with an explosive performance on The Late Late Show , hosted by James Corden .

Produced by Carlos de la Garza , the band's debut album will be released on April 8, 2022. Check out the 2022 release schedule here .
