Limp Bizkit is expected to maintain its Latin American tour schedule following the bassist's death, which includes a one-off performance in Brazil as part of the Loserville Tour .
Following the death of Sam Rivers , bassist and co-founder of the band, last Saturday, October 18th, at the age of 48 , Limp Bizkit had not issued any statement regarding upcoming shows. Now, they have confirmed that at least the performance in Mexico City, scheduled for November 29th, is still on.
The confirmation came via an official statement on the social media channels of Music Vibe, the promoter of the show in Mexico:
“We deeply regret the death of Sam Rivers, founding bassist of Limp Bizkit, whose talent and legacy have marked generations and continue to resonate in every note of his music. At such a significant time for the band and its fans, Limp Bizkit has decided to proceed with their show on November 29th in Mexico City as part of the Gringo Papi Tour . That night, every riff and shout from the audience will sound in homage to the great legacy that Sam offered to nu metal. For his energy will never cease to exist.”
It appears that Limp Bizkit will continue their tour in Latin America. The tour includes a single show in Brazil , at Allianz Parque in São Paulo, on December 20th. Other names included in the lineup are: YUNGBLUD , 311, Ecca Vandal, Riff Raff , and Slay Squad . Tickets are still on sale at the Eventim website .

According to TMZ , Sam Rivers, co-founding bassist of Limp Bizkit, died of cardiac arrest at the age of 48. The band posted the announcement of his death last Saturday, October 18th . However, the official cause of death has not yet been revealed.
Sam Rivers left the band in 2015 after being diagnosed with a degenerative disease, but returned in 2018. Years later, Sam stated that his departure was due to liver disease caused by excessive alcohol consumption. The musician underwent a liver transplant.
Recently, DJ Lethal , Sam Rivers' former bandmate, posted a photo of the bassist wearing a t-shirt with the words "Fuck Cancer" and added the same hashtag.
