Limp Bizkit LOSERVILLE TOUR last Saturday, the 29th, and will arrive in Brazil on December 20th. The first show took place in Mexico, at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City, marking the band's first performance since the death of Sam Rivers , bassist and founding member of the band.
Limp Bizkit has enlisted bassist Kid Not , stage name of Richie Buxton , bassist, songwriting partner and producer of Ecca Vandal , one of the artists chosen to open for the tour.
The band began the show by thanking the world for the support they received after the recent loss and dedicated the performance to Sam with a short compilation of videos showing some of the bassist's moments on stage with his bandmates. At the end of the video, the message: “Sam Rivers, our brother forever. Sam Rivers, we love you forever.”
The show, laden with symbolism, confirmed Limp Bizkit's return to the stage and celebrated the legacy of the bassist and one of the band's founders.
