A little more about the M72 Tour

Dubbed M72 , Metallica's new tour kicked off on April 19th in New York City with record-breaking attendance .

Last Saturday's show marked the first of six scheduled dates for Metallica's North American tour. The tour includes dates in cities such as Nashville, Philadelphia, and Houston (via People ).

In addition to Limp Bizkit, other major bands such as Pantera , Suicidal Tendencies , and Ice Nine Kills are scheduled to open for the shows on select dates.

Furthermore, the tour adopts the "No Repeat Weekend" , where Metallica presents different setlists on consecutive nights in the same city. The goal is to provide a unique experience for the fans.

Although they already shared the stage on the historic Summer Sanitarium Tour of 2003, it's undeniable that this new collaboration is more special. Before the M72 Tour , Limp Bizkit had already shown their respect by including a version of "Master of Puppets" in their setlist (via Tenho Mais Discos que Amigos ).
