Limp Bizkit: Sales double after Lollapalooza Chicago show

Limp Bizkit's return to the stage over the weekend resulted in a surge in sales and streams of the band's music on digital platforms

Last weekend, Limp Bizkit took the stage at Lollapalooza Chicago and not only played some of the crowd's favorite hits but also debuted a new song called " Dad Vibes ".

It wasn't just the novelty that caught the attention of the audience and those watching at home, but also the unusual appearance of vocalist Fred Durst , who was unrecognizable wearing a wig, a windbreaker jacket, and large red glasses.

According to Billboard , whether due to eccentricity, novelty, or nostalgia, Limp Bizkit's performance was very successful, and the band's sales have doubled since their participation in the festival. Compared to the previous week, the number of streams for the artists also saw a 27% increase on August 1st and 2nd.

Limp Bizkit has been on the road since 1994 and their last studio album was released exactly 10 years ago, in 2011. There's still no information about a new album, but the performance of "Dad Vibes" certainly excited the fans. Check it out here.
