On December 20th, 2025, Limp Bizkit brought their highly anticipated LOSERVILLE TOUR , marking the end of an intense season of this global tour that passed through the United States, Europe, and now Latin America, with opening acts Slay Squad, Riff Raff, Ecca Vandal, 311 , and Bullet For My Valentine.

The band's performance was a celebration of nu metal, a genre they helped solidify in the late 1990s, in a moment of emotion, nostalgia, and tribute to bassist Sam Rivers , a founding member of the band, who died on October 18th at the age of 48.

Formed in 1994 in Jacksonville, Florida, Limp Bizkit quickly became one of the most visceral names in the nu metal movement, blending heavy rock with elements of rap, funk, and groove metal under the leadership of the charismatic Fred Durst . With over 40 million records sold worldwide, the group has built a career marked by explosive energy, provocative lyrics, and a unique aesthetic.

Over the decades, the band revolutionized the scene by uniting diverse audiences, creating a sound that influenced countless subsequent bands. Albums like Three Dollar Bill, Y'all$ (1997), Significant Other (1999), and Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water (2000) are among the most iconic releases of the turn of the century, with tracks that became anthems for a generation – and which were sung at the top of their lungs by approximately 40,000 people present at Allianz Parque.

In recent years, following the release of their latest album Still Sucks (2021), Limp Bizkit has continued to cultivate its global fanbase with constant touring and appearances at major festivals, most recently in Brazil at Lollapalooza in 2024.

Limp Bizkit delivers one of the best shows of the year.

That night, Limp Bizkit delivered a show that spanned different phases of their career, balancing acclaimed classics with moments of high intensity on stage. The setlist included obligatory hits such as "Break Stuff" (which opens and closes the shows), "Nookie," "My Generation," "Rollin'," and "Take a Look Around," tracks that encourage singing, jumping, and an intense exchange of energy between the band and the fans.

During the song “Full Nelson,” Fred Durst called a fan named Bia to sing with the band, a moment that also drew attention, mainly due to the fan's talent and poise, which showed great attitude. The vocalist also invited the audience to “celebrate like in 1999,” amidst a crowd of fans wearing Fred Durst's iconic red cap from that time.

Featuring 17 songs, mixed with mashups of songs by Metallica, UB40, KC and the Sunshine Band and others, created by DJ Lethal and proving the group's audacity, the show exuded a unique, nostalgic energy, and according to some fans present, "washed away the soul after a chaotic year." As a token of appreciation, Fred Durst called the bands that participated in the festival onto the stage between songs, asking for applause.

One of the most touching moments of the performance was the tribute to bassist and co-founder Sam Rivers, a central figure since the band's original formation in 1994, contributing profoundly to Limp Bizkit's sound and identity throughout its history.

Before the band took the stage, a video tribute moved the audience, showing scenes of Rivers throughout the years and ending with messages like "Sam Rivers, our brother forever" and "we love you forever." The members then embraced in the center of the stage, transforming the opening of the show into a tribute to the musician's legacy, where Fred reinforced that the show was dedicated to Sam.

With the original bassist absent, Richie Buxton , producer and bassist for Ecca Vandal, took over on bass duties on stage, ensuring both respect for and continuity of the band's characteristic sound.

Limp Bizkit closes the rock concert schedule, making it onto the list of the best of 2025, proving their relevance and the rise of the Nu metal style. At the end, during the "Break Stuff," all the bands took to the stage in a grand celebration that goes beyond the music. One of the best end-of-year parties.
