Pantera: Mini guitars will be launched at San Diego Comic-Con.

The limited edition set was made in partnership with War Machine Marketing.

Axe Heaven, a specialized company, manufactured Pantera for San Diego Comic-Con International.

“I’ve been a huge fan of the band since 1991,” explains War Machine Marketing CEO Ro Kohli. “I not only want to pay tribute to Pantera, but I also want to honor Dimebag Darrell and his legacy in the metal world. However, with the recent death of Vinnie Paul , we felt this tribute was even more important than simply doing something for the fans. The event transformed what was a celebration of the band and its significance into a tribute to the Abbott brothers.”

The mini guitars will be inspired by three of the band's albums, Vulgar Display Of Power (1992), Far Beyond Driven (1994) and Great Southern Trendkill (1996), and will be part of a limited edition; for this, there will be a daily draw to decide the order of purchase.

“My goal was to create a unique, one-of-a-kind item to bring us closer to the music. It doesn’t matter your political views, ethnicity, or past,” Kohli states, “Pantera is a band that unites us in terms of tastes, beyond trivial differences. We feel this is the greatest tribute to the band, to the brothers, and to the world they opened up for their fans.” Rest in peace, Vinnie Paul and Dimedag Darell… Deceased but never forgotten.”

In addition to the mini-guitars, a rare tribute item to the band is being developed for all fans who purchase one of the sets at San Diego Comic-Con. The event will take place between July 18th and 22nd.
