Liam Gallagher is known for many things, most notably his immense hatred for Manchester United and his outspoken animosity towards his brother, Noel . The feud with his brother led to the breakup of Oasis and has kept the band inactive since 2009.
However, his love for his boyhood club, Manchester City , seems to be greater. After City qualified for the Champions League final, Liam declared that if the team wins the title, he will return with Oasis.
"If Manchester City wins the Champions League, I'll call my brother and bring the fucking band back."
Oasis became world-famous in the 90s after their debut album Definitely Maybe (1994) and its successor (What's the Story) Morning Glory? (1995), both featuring numerous worldwide hits.
Tensions with his brother Noel reached a peak at the Rock en Seine in Paris in August 2009 when Noel announced his departure from the band due to irreparable differences with his brother Liam.
The Champions League final will be played on June 10th at 4:00 PM in Istanbul, Turkey. Manchester City will face Inter Milan .
