The musician released a statement explaining the situation
Singer Liam Gallagher left Lollapalooza Chile on Sunday, the 18th, after singing only four songs. The former Oasis member left the stage after complaining about the show's audio and his own voice.
“My voice is bad and the sound is awful,” the singer reportedly said at the beginning of his set. Shortly after, Gallagher posted a statement on his social media explaining that he is suffering from sinusitis as well as a throat and ear infection.
In the statement, the musician also revealed he was "disappointed and upset" for not having finished the show and promised to reschedule a show in Santiago, Chile as soon as possible.
This is not the first time Liam has left the stage. In 2017, he ended his show at Lollapalooza Chicago after the third song, claiming that the previous night had been a "difficult show" that damaged his voice.
This Wednesday, the 21st, he will perform at Audio in São Paulo and on Sunday, the 25th, at Lollapalooza Brazil.
