Liam Gallagher Knebworth 22 this Friday, the 11th .
The new project, which is already available on all digital platforms, is a celebration and also a reminder of the two biggest solo shows of the artist's career to date. The album is accompanied by a music video for the closing track, "Champagne Supernova".
Knebworth 22 has an electrifying intensity. The setlist covers Liam's main solo songs and includes a selection of iconic anthems from the Oasis . At full throttle, Liam Gallagher and the band deliver a phenomenal performance, especially on the tracks "Rock'n Roll Star", "Wall Of Glass", "Once" and "More Power".
In a recent conversation with Jo Whiley on Radio 2, Liam compared his two solo performances at Knebworth to Oasis' famous shows at the same venue in 1996. He commented: “It’s like a boxer winning his first title. It’s incredible. It brings back a feeling of when you lose and then, coming back 26 years later, you win! So I think what means the most to me is those 26 years later.”.
The new live video for “Champagne Supernova” offers a wave of nostalgia and captures memories that will last a lifetime, from special guest John Squire of the Stone Roses to a sea of ecstatic faces in the crowd, many of whom weren't even born when the song was first released.
