Former Entombed LG Petrov revealed on the 9th that he has been diagnosed with bile duct cancer, a rare and unfortunately incurable type of the disease.
Entombed.AD 's social media , which shared a selfie of the vocalist in the hospital with fans, along with a caption communicating the sad news and how Petrov's admirers can help him in this battle by contributing via GoFundMe to fund treatment that allows people with Petrov's diagnosis to have a better quality of life. "Sad news… LG Petrov has been diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy to try and control it. Our thoughts and strength go out to our brother," the caption concludes with the hashtags #fuckcancer and #fightforlifeandmetal.
“I have been struck by an incurable cancer and have been battling it for some time now. It cannot be removed, but the doctors are trying to control it with chemotherapy. Life takes strange turns…”, Petrov writes on the fundraising page. “To help a fellow metalhead in need during these difficult times, feel free to donate here!”
