In a new interview for Rocking With Jam Man , former Steel Panther Lexxi Foxx ( Travis Haley along well with his former bandmates.

He replied: “We haven’t spoken yet, except for brief conversations with Michael Starr (vocalist). The way the split happened left some open wounds. But it’s difficult for me to explain.”

“I’m very proud of what we did, of the character I embodied, and of having played with those guys,” he continued. “They’re all incredible musicians. And I just think it’s different not having that [in my life]. I’ve been in character for so long… But I must say it’s a little refreshing too.”

When Steel Panther announced Lexxi's departure in July, the band jokingly wrote: “It is with heavy hearts – but with great heavy metal memories – that we say goodbye to Lexxi Foxx. We love you and wish you a wonderful future putting eyeliner on chihuahuas,” the band wrote. “Steel Panther will continue to rock the world. And while we may never find a bassist as handsome as Lexxi, it shouldn’t be hard to find one who matches his high intellect.”

Steel Panther guitarist Russ “Satchel” Parrish has provided more details regarding bassist Lexxi Foxx's departure, which was announced in May of this year.

In a recent interview on the 2020'd podcast, the musician denied rumors of the band member's departure. “We didn't want him to leave, nobody wanted that, including many fans. I'm sure many are very sad about his leaving,” he said (via Blabbermouth). “But he's the guy who left the band… I think he's dealing with his own issues and wanted to focus on that. So I don't know, I can't speak for Lexxi Foxx.”

After the serious moment passed, emphasizing that Foxx was not fired, Satchel spoke about the search for a new bassist. "We're going to move forward and find someone who is younger and bolder and doesn't need so much Botox," he said.

Haley, who was an original member of Steel Panther, recently announced the formation of his new band Hollywood Gods N' Monsters with a longtime friend and television celebrity from MTV's "Pimp My Ride," Diggity Dave .
