composer, vocalist, and Big Loud Rock artist Letdown is happy to announce the release of the music video for his new single, “Ugly.” Featuring a collaboration with Kelsy Karter & The Heroines , “Ugly” is a pop-rock track that encompasses the types of thoughts related to self-image and how we perceive ourselves, detailing an internal struggle.
“This song is a literal representation of how I feel about myself,” says Letdown. “ It can be a dichotomy between the real person I am and the person I see in the mirror, because my flaws are sometimes all I see. In trying to dissociate myself from the self I hate, I also struggle with the reality that we are one and the same.”

About Letdown
While everyone else was learning to garden or bake bread from scratch in 2020, Blake Coddington was busy finding a new way to express himself musically. The Chicago/Nashville rocker released Letdown, a new project that showcases his powerful vocal range and deeply personal lyrics with catchy guitar melodies and mesmerizing drum beats. Or, in Coddington's words: "It's just me crying about my problems."
In 2021, Letdown saw rapid growth on TikTok , over 548K monthly listeners on Spotify , and 100K on Instagram – and that's before counting the more than 63 million streams. Naturally, the emotionally vulnerable rocker is fully aware that TikTok hasn't exactly become a bastion of heavier music yet, and his bearded and tattooed look stands out from the assortment of teen pop stars and dance routines on the platform.
