The official Motörhead fan page announced that Ian 'Lemmy' Kilmister's funeral will take place this Saturday, January 9th, and the whole world will be able to celebrate the life and legacy left by the Motörhead frontman.
A private ceremony for family and close friends will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Hollywood and will be streamed live on Motörhead's official YouTube channel so that all fans can say goodbye to Lemmy.

In the statement, the band also asks fans to gather at their favorite bars to watch the broadcast and celebrate Lemmy's life.
After the ceremony, another tribute will be held at the Rainbow Bar & Grill, Lemmy's favorite bar, and is expected to extend along the entire Sunset Strip.
Lemmy passed away on the 28th at the age of 70.
