Lemmy will receive an award at a bass player event

Bass Player Live! will be on the 7th and 8th

Motörhead bassist, vocalist, and leader Lemmy Kilmister will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Bass Player Live! ceremony for his contribution to the world of music. The award will be presented to Lemmy by Robert Trujillo of Metallica.

At the ceremony, a long list of musicians will also pay tribute to Lemmy, including Rex Brown (Kill Devil Hill, Pantera), Rob “Blasko” Nicholson (Ozzy Osbourne), Whitfield Crane (Ugly Kid Joe), Chuck Billy (Testament), and Lita Ford.

The event will take place in Los Angeles on November 7th and 8th.
