The legendary Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp in the USA has announced, for the first time, an edition featuring only female acts. The event will take place between January 27th and 30th, 2022 in Los Angeles, during the Grammy Awards weekend.
Melissa Etheridge will headline the event alongside Nancy Wilson of Heart, Kathy Valentine of Go-Go, and guitarist Orianthi. The mentor lineup is rounded out by Rhonda Smith (Prince, Jeff Beck), Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson), Eva Gardner (Pink, Cher), Ginger Pooley (Smashing Pumpkins, Gwen Stefani), and Jennie Vee (Eagles of Death Metal), with other names to be confirmed.
In addition to featuring only female performers, the event will also have an all-female production team and speaker lineup. Britt Lightning of Vixen is responsible for the event's musical direction.
The camp will feature masterclasses, Q&As, jam sessions, and, to conclude, a show at the Whisky a Go Go in West Hollywood. Registration for the event is now open at this link.
