Brent Hinds was unable to attend the show.

The supergroup Legend of the Seagullmen, formed by Mastodon frontman Brent Hinds, Tool drummer Danny Carey, animator and director Jimmy Hayward, and Queens Of The Stone Age guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen, made their live debut on New Year's Day.

The performance took place as the opening act for the band Primus at the Fox Theater in Oakland, California, and fans recorded the 40-minute set.

According to The PRP, Brent Hinds was unable to attend the show due to a family emergency, but you can still watch the recording below.

Legend of the Seagullmen will release their first studio album on February 9th via Dine Alone Records. The album will be self-titled and will feature eight new tracks.
