Musicians want a share of the profits
The legal proceedings brought against Tobias Forge , the Papa Emeritus, by the other four Ghost musicians, Simon Soderberg, Mauro Rubino, Henrik Palm, and Martin Hjertstedt, saw developments on Monday.
The musicians are suing Tobias Forge for receiving only a fixed salary without any percentage related to record sales and concerts.
Forge claims that the band Ghost is not a group, but rather his solo project, and that the other members are merely "hired musicians" not considered crucial to the band or irreplaceable.
On Monday, representatives from both sides met in a court in Linkoping, Sweden, to begin discussions on a possible settlement. Lawyers also reviewed all documentation to eliminate any existing gaps in case an agreement is not reached and the process moves forward.
