Left Hand began its activities in 2008, playing original music and started to actively participate in the underground music scene of northern Rio de Janeiro state. That same year, the band released an EP and received good reviews. The band gradually matured, and the compositions shifted from a more Southern-influenced Thrash/Groove sound to a more aggressive and elaborate one. After a period of tribulations due to lineup changes, Left Hand returned to activity with Thrash running through their veins. Left Hand plays Thrash Metal influenced by bands like Exodus and Testament, adding a touch of Pantera and Exhorder to the formula, drawing from various sources of heavy music. The result is an aggressive sound that balances heavy riffs, speed, and rhythmic, exciting passages. |

At the end of 2012, the band recorded an EP at Mr. Som studio, produced by Marcello Pompeu and Heros Trench, both from Korzus. “Scientifical Plague” features Pompeu and includes five songs.
