Led Zeppelin will have to pay US$800,000 in a lawsuit regarding "Stairway To Heaven".

Lawyers who defended the band are requesting this amount

The lawyers for Warner/Chappell Music, who represented Led Zeppelin Stairway To Heaven plagiarism trial , requested approximately US$800,000 for their services, comprising US$613,000 in service fees and an additional US$180,000 in expenses.

The lawyers claim to have worked more than 1800 hours since 2014.

The trial, which lasted six days, resulted in a verdict acquitting Led Zeppelin of plagiarizing the opening chords of their 1971 classic " Stairway to Heaven" from a 1968 instrumental piece called "Taurus" by the band Spirit.
