Check out this special playlist created by Wikimetal to celebrate Led Zeppelin's 50th anniversary.
In January 1969, Led Zeppelin released their self-titled debut album to the world. 50 years later, the band remains one of the most important in music history. The sound of Led Zeppelin continues to be discovered and embraced by each new generation.
In celebration of the historic anniversary, the digital album Led Zeppelin x Led Zeppelin was released last year by Warner Music. The band launched a new app that will allow fans and artists to create personalized playlists, the Led Zeppelin Playlist Generator . The app allows users to use any track from the band's catalog, studio albums, or live recordings.
Once the playlist is complete, the generator will create its own custom artwork that can be shared on social media. Fans can use the program to personalize their social media profile pictures with their name in the famous Led Zeppelin font.
Wikimetal couldn't miss out on the celebration and has prepared a special playlist. X Wikimetal features the band's greatest hits and alternative and remastered versions of the tracks.
Of course, “Kashmir,” “Whole Lotta Love,” and “Immigrant Song” are included. But gems like “Babe I'm Gonna Leave You” and “D'yer Ma'ker” also made it onto our special playlist.
