Led Zeppelin: video explores the re-release of How the West Was Won

The re-release is part of the band's 50th anniversary project.

On September 7, 1968, John Bonham, John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page, and Robert Plant took the stage together for the first time in Gladsaxe, Denmark. Called The New Yardbirds at the time, the band would soon make their studio debut to work on recording Led Zeppelin , and rock would never be the same again.

Before the band's 50th anniversary celebrations officially begin in September, Led Zeppelin will continue working on their reissue campaign with a new edition of the acclaimed live album How the West Was Won , originally released in 2003, featuring remastered audio supervised by Jimmy Page. Details of upcoming products and events commemorating Led Zeppelin's 50th anniversary will be announced soon.

The reissue of How the West Was Won arrives on March 23rd in multiple formats via Atlantic/Swan Song, including previously unreleased vinyl and Blu-ray versions. The album highlights the best parts of Led Zeppelin's performances at the Los Angeles Forum and Long Beach Arena in the United States on June 25th and 27th, 1972.
