The re-release will include a deluxe box set

Led Zeppelin has announced that they will be re-releasing their live album How The West Was Won.

Although recorded in 1972, the album was only released in 2003. Its new version will mark the band's 50th anniversary and will be remastered with guidance from Jimmy Page.

How The West Was Won will be released on March 23rd by Atlantic/Swan Song in physical (CD, LP, Blu-Ray Audio) and digital (streaming) formats. The re-release will also include a deluxe box set.

The box set will include remastered audio of the tracks, four 180g LPs, a DVD, a downloadable file of the tracks, and a book with rare and never-before-seen photos.

A copy of the original album artwork will also be included in the box set. Check out some images below.

The band's 50th anniversary will also be celebrated with the release of an illustrated book.
