Led Zeppelin 's history Robert Plant 's manuscript with an alternate version of the lyrics to "Kashmir" is among the items in the recently announced lot.
The verses were handwritten by the singer on a piece of paper from The Whitehall Hotel, located in Chicago, and had been sold at another auction in 2016. According to Louder Sound , estimates for the sale of this note range between 200 and 300 thousand dollars – between R$ 1.1 and 1.6 million reais.
The sale event takes place at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York on November 16th and also features the VMA Award statue won by Guns N' Roses for Best Heavy Metal Video with "Sweet Child O' Mine" in 1989, an illustration of Kurt Cobain , the jacket worn by Keith Richards at the Altamont Free Concert, among other items.
