In this week's Wikimetal poll, Led Zeppelin was voted the band that the public would most like to see return, with 40% of the votes. Pantera and Death came in second and third place, with 37% and 12% respectively.

Often cited as one of the birthplaces of Heavy Metal and the best Classic Rock band, Led Zeppelin is one of the best-selling artists in history. All nine of their studio albums entered the Billboard Top 10, and six of them reached number one.

Led Zeppelin officially broke up after the death of drummer John Bonham in 1980. After that date, the band reunited several times, but never officially announced a comeback. Recently, vocalist Robert Plant even stated that the chances of him singing with Led Zeppelin again are zero.
