Band receives award for lifetime achievement

Led Zeppelin received the Lifetime Achievement Award yesterday at the German ECHO awards ceremony in Berlin. The award is given to artists for their body of work created throughout their lives.

Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones were in attendance to accept the award. Robert Plant was unable to attend as he had a concert in Singapore that same evening.

Regarding the award, Page said that Led Zeppelin's greatest achievement is being an inspiration to others.
