The documentary Becoming Led Zeppelin premieres on February 27th in Brazil, featuring never-before-seen footage and an exclusive collection of materials about the creation of Led Zeppelin .
The feature film covers Led Zeppelin's journey from the first time the band got together in the summer of 1968 to their meteoric rise in just one year.
The documentary's story is told through testimonies from band members Jimmy Page , Robert Plant , John Paul Jones , and John Bonham , as well as images and videos from the hard rock group's personal archives.
According to Sony Pictures , the documentary film provides an unparalleled look at how the band formed, as the audience witnesses firsthand the formation of their first two official tours and the creation of their first two records, which made history.
Directed by Bernard MacMahon , the documentary will be available in IMAX format, guaranteeing higher quality images and sound for a more immersive viewing experience.
Becoming Led Zeppelin is the first audiovisual product authorized by the band and has an official trailer released by Sony Pictures.
On its opening weekend in the United States, the feature film was a success, reaching the eighth position in the top 10 of North American box office. There is still no information about tickets in Brazil.
