The book contains 400 pages of previously unreleased content.

Robert Plant has made it very clear that a Led Zeppelin will not happen, as it would be a "disservice to the fans," but of course what he means is that they will not play together again, which does not exclude projects of various formats such as an illustrated book about the band.

On Led Zeppelin's official Twitter account, remaining members Plant, Jimmy Page , and John Paul Jones announced the release of a book they helped create to commemorate the band's legendary 50-year career.

Titled Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin , the book contains 400 pages of photos and stories about the band, and much of this material has never been released before, including artwork that has been kept in the personal archives of the band members for all these years.

The book is just the beginning of the celebrations, according to Page, who revealed that there will be many more surprises for fans. As for a performance by the trio, the chances are minimal. "I don't know if I would do that, really. I can't even imagine it happening," Plant said on one occasion when he was questioned about the reunion.

Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin will be officially released in October by Reel Art Press. The book is already available for pre-order here .
