The Brazilian heavy metal band VIPER has had great vocalists throughout its extensive career, starting with Andre Matos . Currently, the group features Leandro Caçoilo on vocals, and the new album Timeless The Wikimetal Happy Hour program , the singer spoke about the feeling of joining the band's discography.
Nando Machado pointed out in the conversation, Caçoilo occupies a spot that has been held by iconic musicians over the years. “I’m very proud, it was hard work, but this whole journey since 2017 in the band has been well worth it. It’s been six years and we managed to put together a very good repertoire [on the album], even though the songs are very different from each other, this album has a very good unity. I’m receiving fantastic feedback,” he said.
VIPER 's new album was the band's first release of new material in 15 years. The album follows All My Life (2007) and showcases the power of the current lineup in the studio, featuring Leandro Caçoilo (vocals), Kiko Shred (guitar), Pit Passarell (bass and vocals), Felipe Machado (guitar), and Guilherme Martin (drums). The album recording also included special appearances by former members such as Yves Passarell , Hugo Mariutti , and Daniel Matos , brother of the late vocalist Andre Matos .
Released via Wikimetal Music , VIPER's new album was produced by Maurício Cersosimo and co-produced by former member Val Santos . The album, Timeless, is available on CD at the official Wikimetal .
