The Beatles have announced the release of the last official song of their career, called "Now and Then".
The song was written and recorded by John Lennon before his death, worked on by all the band members, and finalized by Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr five decades later.
The official release of “Now and Then” will take place on Thursday, November 2nd, along with a music video. The day before, a 12-minute documentary about the song will be available on the Beatles' YouTube channel.
According to G1 , the so-called "last Beatles song" was recorded by John Lennon as a demo in 1970. Years later, in 1994, widow Yoko Ono reportedly gave the recording to Paul, George [Harrison], and Ringo, along with demos of "Free As a Bird" and "Real Love," which were later released on The Beatles Anthology .
