Alex Van Halen will release the last song he made in partnership with his brother, Eddie Van Halen , in the audiobook version of the memoir Brothers , which is scheduled for release on October 22nd.
The track, titled "Unfinished," can be heard during the narration, which will be done by the drummer himself. HarperCollins, the publisher of the book, confirmed that it is the last song made by both of them, according to the Loudwire .
According to the website, the publisher stated that the book will be nothing like any rock and roll memoir you've ever read.
“It’s a personal story of family, friendship, music and brotherly love from Van Halen … [It’s his] love letter to his younger brother Edward, written while he was still grieving his untimely death,” HarperCollins said.
The book is available for pre-order abroad and can be purchased on the publisher's website for US$32 (approximately R$180 at the current exchange rate).
