Lars Ulrich praises the vocalist.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich spoke about the duet with Lady Gaga that took place at the Grammys last weekend:
“There was a little technical chaos, but there’s nothing you can do about that. You just learn to deal with that side of things. It happened with Adele last year, this year it was our turn.”
Praising Lady Gaga, the drummer continued, referring to her as "the perfect and essential fifth member of the band. Her voice, her attitude, her vision of everything is incredible. The performance was so effortless, so organic, she has the spirit of Hard Rock and Metal flowing through her veins."
Furthermore, Ulrich said the partnership shouldn't stop there: “We've already started accelerating towards the next chapter where we can do even more. This isn't one of those partnerships with 20 lawyers, strategists, and businesspeople trying to force two people from different worlds to come together for four minutes. This is organic and authentic, as it should be. We're just getting started.”
