James, Lars, Kirk, and Robert call themselves 'Beliebers'.
When asked by Q magazine if they were 'Beliebers' (a play on words meaning they are fans or believe in Justin Bieber), the four members of Metallica said yes:
“Are we Beliebers? Yes,” James Hetfield replies categorically. Lars Ulrich ponders:
“Is it possible to respect him without being a 'Belieber'? I think the kid is really talented and obviously going through what he went through when he was so young must have been terrible. So just the fact that he took the risk, tried, and achieved this success is already admirable, and I think he's super talented, so I think yes, I am a 'Belieber'.”

Robert Trujillo adds: "As long as he's not involved in trouble, I'll be a 'Belieber'."
The NME.com website had already revealed that Bieber is a big fan of Metallica, citing "Fade To Black" and "One" as two of his favorite songs.
