Metallica, U2, and Green Day may tour together.
In a recent interview with MTV, Metallica Lars Ulrich recounted a dinner followed by several drinks that took place two years ago in San Francisco with members of U2 and Green Day, where they agreed to do a tour with the three bands.
The unlikely show can also be explained by statements Ulrich had previously made about Bono Vox's band: "I'm the biggest U2 fan. In fact, I'd say I'm practically a groupie .
