For Metallica's drummer, the album Hardwired…To Self-Destruct , released in 2016, is the best album he has ever recorded. "It's the album I have the fewest problems with and the one that still sounds most representative of my current state of mind."
When asked about Metallica's worst album, Lars Ulrich says he doesn't consider any of the band's albums bad and emphasizes that he doesn't see any Metallica record as a mistake. In Lars's perception, the album Kill 'Em All (1983), having been recorded a long time ago, sounds too youthful. "But I feel very comfortable with the past," he adds.
