“I am shocked and saddened to have just received the sad news that Lars Ratz died today in a small plane crash,” Caffery wrote. “Lars loved taking risks. He kind of lived a very heavy metal life in many ways. He loved being a pilot. Now he can take some of my friends who are in heaven on some of his flights. Fly with the angels, my friend.” Check out the list of friends who also paid tribute to Lars.
